I always thought that I would never be alive to see a black president OR a woman president. Personally, I am thrilled that is has finally happened (although I was REALLY wanting Hillary)!
It has nothing to do with whether I like or dislike McCain, because I have nothing against the man (but his wife? GRRRR.....what a scarey please-let-me-try-to-look-like-Barbie "plastic looking freak"!) Sorry, but I really don't sugar coat things.
I see that maybe now that Obama has been elected, perhaps this country is becoming a little more "tolerant." Maybe Obama looking for a "change" won't be the only change to happen in this country. Wouldn't that be wonderful?
And "by change" I mean, racial tolerance and nothing in a political sense. It doesn't matter who won, there will be people that won't be happy.

I think it would be an answer to prayer. I personally am a republican and was voting for McCain, however I'm sorta antsy to see what Obama is going to do in office because I feel he is going to go in and kick butt to prove himself. Just my non-political two sense.
