MFT - BY THE SEASHORE

I love this set by MFT. It has the things that I love, the beach and dogs!

I used By the Seashore, SU cardstock and SU designer paper (LeJardin) PrismaColor markers. and SU oval punches. This was paper piecing. I really like this technique since I like cutting things out. It is time consuming but I enjoy it!

Stay Put Bow

Check out this tutorial on Michelle Skillicorn's blog. It is great and so useful. I love it!!

SU Cards

I made these cards using Pocket Silhouettes, saffrony (I know, it isn't a word) looking cardstock Cuttlebug embossing folders and brown ribbon on one card and black ribbon on the other.

My Favorite Things Card

I made this card (paper piecing) for a friend's birthay, a using SU cardstock, SU designer paper, hemp, Liquid Applique, tags and a snap (don't remember the brand). I like the way it turned out and hope my friend does too.

My Favorite Things

I love the "Who's That Girl" stamps from MFT.

I used SU cardstock and SU designer paper (LeJardin) for this card. I threw on a few brads and I used Liquid Applique for the bubbles.

I hope you like the card!

The Change

This card is for my friend who keeps having hot flashes. I think she'll love it. The stamp is A Muse and the cardstock is SU and I don't know where the ribbon is from(well, I know it is from my scrap room but I don't know the kind of ribbon it is) :)

My Key West Birthday Party

I have the best husband and the greatest friends. What a wonderful birthday trip! We all had such a blast! This was Maragarita Day which happened to fall on my 46th birthday. One hundred margaritas drank by six people (two drank other things) and $350.00 later....whew!

I really love the A Muse notecards. I hope you like the card!

My First A Muse Cards and Posts

Okay, this is the first card I have ever made with my new addiction, A Muse Stamps. I used the Chair/Lamp stamp (my favorite), Scallop punch, white ribbon and Prisma markers. I am really liking the simple, no muss, no fuss look.

And my second A Muse card. I just got this Wheelbarrow stamp yesterday and love it. I used SU white cardstock, Bazzill green carddstock, a miscellaneous tag and miscellaneous ribbon. I like how it turned out.

Cute backgrounds for your Blogs

Okay, I am going to try to blog again. I have been sick for a week and have been scouring blogs and I really enjoy so many of them that I see. My problem is, I lose interest in "journaling" and stop. I'll probably stop this time too.

I have been wondering how people change their backgrounds and use signatures and that type of thing. There sure is ALOT of work starting a blog. I found a blog called Laugh Every Day belonging to Staci Schofield and she has a post for www.simplychicblogs.blogspot.com where you can download free backgrounds.

With all that being said, I took my cue from Staci and did the same thing. They are simple, cute and they have quite the variety. All they ask is that you add a link to your blog to let people know about them. That is simple enough.

So, before you get too frustrated, take a look at their site and enjoy!
